A stacking machine for a single-side roadway of a stereo garage, and a mounting method therefor. The stacking machine comprises a lower rail (1), an upper rail (2), sliding mechanisms (3) and a rack (4), wherein the sliding mechanisms (3) are all arranged on a surface of the lower rail (1) and a surface of the upper rail (2), and the rack (4) is mounted on surfaces of the sliding mechanisms (3). By means of slidably inserting connecting plates (5) on two sides of the rack (4) into an inner wall of a mounting groove (303), when a mounting plate (302) is aligned with a first threaded groove (310) disposed in the connecting plate (5), a positioning screw rod (6) spirally rotates at an inner wall of the first threaded groove (310), such that when the bottom end of the positioning screw rod (6) enters the first threaded groove (310) in the connecting plate (5), the rack (4) is fixed on base surfaces in the sliding mechanisms (3). In the stacking machine, the sliding mechanisms and the rack are dismounted or mounted separately, and are thus more convenient to mount, thereby reducing the labor amount of workers.
