Abstract:

A staged brake control device for vehicle tire burst and a control method thereof belong to the technical field of automobiles. The problems of rear collision and making vehicle more unstable caused by emergency braking after vehicle tire burst are solved. The device comprises a tire pressure sensor (2), a controller (1), a radar sensor (3), a stabilization detecting module and an ESC (5). The radar sensor (3) and the stabilization detecting module are respectively connected to the input end of the controller (1); the tire pressure sensor (2) is wirelessly connected to the controller (1); and the ESC (5) is connected to the output end of the controller (1). The control method comprises: 1. monitoring the state of vehicle tires; 2. carrying out traffic condition assessment and determining a first maximum braking deceleration value to prevent the rear vehicle collision after the present vehicle emergency braking; 3. carrying out the tire-burst vehicle stable state assessment by combining the current vehicle speed, and determining a second maximum braking deceleration value based on the stable state; 4. carrying out the tire burst staged braking. The device and the method can ensure the quick and stable braking of the tire-burst vehicle and avoid the rear collision between the present vehicle and the rear vehicle.
