Abstract:
To form a nonmetal staple more stably, a stapler includes a forming member which bends a flat nonmetal staple to be formed in a U shape, and a staple pressing plate which holds staple legs of the nonmetal staple formed in the U shape. The forming member and the staple pressing plate are provided to be relatively movable with respect to the nonmetal staple. The forming member and the staple pressing plate are provided to be relatively movable to each other. The staple pressing plate retracts to a position without contacting the bent staple legs when the forming member bends the nonmetal staple in the U shape. The staple pressing plate moves toward the nonmetal staple to hold the staple legs when the staple pressing plate receives the nonmetal staple bent and formed in the U shape.
