Abstract:
This start-up system for a work machine comprises: a vehicle body control unit that outputs a control signal for driving the vehicle body of the work machine with motive power supplied by a motive-power source; and an authentication unit that authenticates the operator of the work machine. The start-up system for a work machine initially starts up the authentication unit, and if the authentication unit has performed authentication to the effect that the operator riding in the work machine is a specific operator, said system starts up the vehicle-body control unit.
