Disclosed in the present invention is a stay cable, comprising a stay cable body, anchoring devices, a protective tube, first protective hoods, second protective hoods, and a dehumidification system. The anchoring devices are provided at either end of the stay cable body, and anchor backing plates are sleeved outside the anchoring devices, the anchor backing plates dividing the anchoring devices into a front end and a back end. The two ends of the protective tube are respectively sealedly connected to the two anchor backing plates, and the front ends of the anchoring devices are positioned inside the protective tube. The first protective hoods are connected to the back ends of the anchoring devices, the second protective hoods are sealedly connected to the anchor backing plates, and the first protective hoods are accommodated within the second protective hoods, air cavities and air holes communicated with the air cavities being opened in the second protective hoods. The air cavities are communicated with the interior of the protective tube, and the dehumidification system is used to provide dry air to one of the air cavities. The present stay cable is able to completely protect the anchoring devices, keeping the anchoring devices from being corroded, while also being able to implement a dehumidifying and anti-corrosion function of the entirety of the stay cable, thus increasing service life and reducing maintenance costs.
