Abstract:
The present invention relates to a steam iron, comprising a water tank, a water pump having a water pump water inlet, a water pump water outlet and an air pressure balancing port, and a water pump water inlet tube, two ends of which are respectively connected to the water tank and the water pump water outlet of the water pump. The steam iron further comprises: an air pressure balancing mechanism located outside the water tank, the air pressure balancing mechanism comprising a protective cover disposed on one side of the water tank; a secondary water tank located in the protective cover, an air pressure balancing hole connecting an inner cavity of the secondary water tank with the outside environment being disposed on top of the secondary water tank; and an air pressure balancing tube, having a first end connected to the air pressure balancing port of the water pump and a second end connected to the secondary water tank, a portion of the air pressure balancing tube proximate to the second end being located in the protective cover. The steam iron simplifies the structure of the water tank by having the air pressure balancing mechanism located outside the water tank.
