Abstract:
Provided are: a steel strip from which material quality information can be provided with high accuracy; and a method for producing the same. A steel strip (9) includes a medium for providing material quality information that includes material quality distribution in which material characteristic values and positions in two-dimensional directions that are a longitudinal direction and a width direction are associated with each other. The material quality information is predicted by using a prediction model to which input data including equipment output factors in equipment for producing a steel strip, disturbance factors, and component values of the steel strip during production are inputted. The prediction model may include: a machine learning model to which input data are inputted and from which production condition factors are outputted, the machine learning model being generated by machine learning; and a metallography model to which production condition factors are inputted and from which material characteristic values are outputted.
