Abstract:
A steel wire rope that has high structural stability and a preparation process therefor. The steel wire rope comprises a center steel wire (2), and a plurality of outer winding steel wires (3) arranged around the center steel wire (2); the diameter of the center steel wire (2) is d, the center steel wire (2) is periodically deformed by means of a deformation straightener, the deformation height thereof is h, and the length of one deformation is L2, wherein h=1-1.3d, and L2 is less than the twisted lay pitch of the outer winding steel wires (3) and the center steel wire (2) of the steel wire rope; and the distance between adjacent outer winding wires (3) of the plurality of outer winding steel wires (3) evenly arranged around the center steel wire (2) is L1, wherein L1<0.1d. By means of the setting above, the rubber penetration rate of the steel wire rope may be greatly improved; and the resistance of the central steel wire to puncturing a tire is increased, so that the structure of a skeleton material is more stable, and the safety and service life of the tire are improved.
