Abstract:
When the steering angular velocity |ω| is not smaller than the judgment
angular velocity ωth, it is assumed that an electric motor is in a predetermined
power use state and a limit judgment threshold value Vonth is set to a first voltage
value V1 (S24). When the steering angular velocity |ω| is smaller than
the judgment angular velocity ωth, the limit judgment threshold value
Vonth is set to a second voltage value V2 (>V1) (S25). If the state that the power
voltage Vx is lower than the limit judgment threshold value Vont continues for
a predetermined time t1 (S30: Yes), a power use limit instruction is outputted
to a particular on-vehicle electric load. Thus, it is possible to appropriately
perform power limit so as to prevent an electric motor control delay and eliminate
excessive power limit.
