Abstract:

[Problem] To provide a steering wheel device for a vehicle with which it is possible to ensure damping effects that compare favorably to conventional technology, to miniaturize an air bag module, and to miniaturize a horn pad part. [Solution] Each damper 11 has a straight pin, one end of each damper is provided with a grip 19 for fixing the damper by being locked to a central core metal part 8 via rotation operation around the axis of the pin, and the other end is provided with a connection tip 12a connected to a module housing 6. A plurality of insertion holes into which the connection tips are respectively inserted are arrayed in the module housing so as to surround the outer edge of an inflator 7. A constricted part having a smaller outer diameter than the hole diameter of the insertion hole is formed on the connection tip, and the connection tip is connected to the module housing via a set spring supported by the module housing so as to engage with the constricted part.
