Abstract:
Provided are a stereoscopic image display device 10 and a stereoscopic image display method in which an object 12 on one side of optical imaging means 11 is formed as a real image 13 on the other side of the optical imaging means 11 using the optical imaging means 11 in which light control panels 14, 15 on a light incoming side and a light emitting side in which a large number of strip-shaped light reflective surface parts 17 are arranged and formed at a constant pitch to be perpendicular to one surface of a transparent flat plate 16 inside the transparent flat plate 16 face each other so that the light reflective surface part 17 of the light control panel 14 on the light incoming side and the light reflective surface part 17 of the light control panel 15 on the light emitting side are perpendicular to each other in a plan view, wherein a reflector generation source 21 that is made of any one or two or more of powdery, flake, liquid, and mist-like irregular reflectors and causes an image body 22 having light reflectivity to appear is provided at a formation location of the real image 13, and the real image 13 is formed inside the image body 22.
