Abstract:
Provided is a sticky paper comprising a print paper which is a substrate, a remoistening adhesive layer which is disposed on one face of the print paper, and a surface processing agent layer which is disposed on the other face of the print paper. This surface processing agent layer prevents curling of the sticky paper owing to stretching of the print paper caused by moisture. A device which automatically carries out a treatment of the sticky paper with water comprises: a supply shelf in which it is possible to stack a plurality of sheets of the sticky paper whereon a plurality of label units is printed in a paper supply direction; a conveyance means for extracting the sticky paper one sheet at a time from the supply shelf and supplying said sticky paper; a cutter means for cutting the conveyed sticky paper into units of one label in a direction which is orthogonal to the conveyance direction; and a water treatment means for treating with water the remoistening adhesive layer of the label which is cut into a single unit.
