Abstract:
The present invention relates to a stone panel and to a method for fabricating same, and more particularly, to a wide, lightweight, and durable stone panel, which may be used as an interior finishing material and as interior/exterior parts for architectural purposes, and which includes a thin stone plate to fully provide an elegant stone-like appearance, and to a method for fabricating same. For this purpose, provided are a stone panel comprising: a stone plate having a thickness ranging from 2 to 40 mm; and a lightweight plate that includes connections on either side thereof and that is coupled to the rear surface of the stone plate, and a method for fabricating same. Accordingly, a wall can be finished with an elegant stone-like appearance, and can be easily and conveniently constructed. In addition, since the stone panel is lightweight, the stone panel is easy to carry. Furthermore, since the stone panel is durable, construction is easily and conveniently performed without worrying about breaking stones. Moreover, a large area can be quickly and efficiently finished.
