Abstract:
A highly reliable storage device is provided. A storage device comprising a memory control unit, which has an input/output unit, a control unit, and a first management unit, and a plurality of memory blocks, wherein: the first management unit has a plurality of first storage elements; the control unit has a function for converting an address input via the input/output unit into a corresponding memory block address using a first management table stored in the plurality of first storage elements; and the first storage elements include a ferroelectric material. The control unit may have a function for avoiding the use of defective memory cells, and may have a function for correcting read data errors.
