Abstract:
A storage system is described comprising a series of fire detection, suppression and extinguishing means. Furthermore, the system comprises containers (10) formed as structural composites. The containers comprise multiple portions of a structural or storage nature. The system further comprises means for using the containers and the system itself in order to reduce the likelihood of fire spreading through large grid based systems.
