Abstract:
Provided is a storage system comprising: a nonvolatile memory; a controller that controls writing/reading of data to/from the nonvolatile memory; a first interface; and a second interface, the storage system being connected to a host device with the first interface and the second interface. At the time of activation of the host device, a bootloader read from the nonvolatile memory is transferred to the host device via the second interface and initialization of the first interface is executed in parallel. After the activation of the host device, writing data/reading data to/from the nonvolatile memory are transferred via the first interface and/or the second interface.
