Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a structural protein microbody which can act as a core for forming a protein nanofiber. [Solution] A structural protein microbody which comprises a structural protein and satisfies at least two of the following requirements (i) to (iii). (i) The structural protein microbody has a peak appearing within a range from 480 to 500 nm in a fluorescence intensity measurement by thioflavine T staining. (ii) Q in Modified Kratky Plot in small angle X-ray scattering (SAXS) has a peak within a region of 0.15 or less. (iii) The structural protein microbody is a conjugate of at least two structural protein molecules.
