Abstract:
A structure for the front of a vehicle body. In said structure, a power unit (62) that contains an engine (63) can be positioned inside a space (61) bounded by left and right front-side frames (12, 12) that are located at the front of a vehicle body (11) and extend in the longitudinal direction thereof and a front bulkhead (13) provided between the front ends of said left and right front-side frames. Left and right protruding members (70, 70) that protrude downwards are joined to the bottom surface (21f) of a lower bulkhead member (21). Said left and right protruding members are located near the parts of the bottom surface of the lower bulkhead member that are directly beneath the bottom ends of left and right side bulkhead members (22, 22), respectively.
