Abstract:
The present invention relates to a structure for strain detection. This structure for strain detection is provided with a ceramic main body (12) which is attached to the detection target, in which strain is to be detected, and with a stress concentration area (14) which is formed in said main body (12) and which is destroyed when at least a prescribed strain is present. Defining the dimension of the entire main body (12) in one direction as Lm and the dimension of the stress concentration area (14) in that direction as Lc, it holds that Lc < Lm, and the stress concentrated area (14) is optionally configured to be a thin area in said direction.
