Abstract:
A suction pad 2 for sucking a glass plate G is provided with: a pad body 4 in which an airtight space S is formed between the glass plate G and the pad body; and a first foam member 5 that is disposed in the airtight space S and that is in contact with the glass plate G. The pad body 4 is provided with: an exhaust port for discharging gas in the airtight space S; and a skirt part 4 that is brought into contact with the glass plate G on the outside of an outer edge part 9 of the first foam member 5. The skirt part 4 is elastically deformable by being brought into contact with the glass plate G, and is separable from the glass plate G by restoration force due to elastic deformation.
