Abstract:
A suitcase, comprising a case housing (1) and an upper cover (2). The case housing (1) comprises a lower housing portion (11) having a cavity, and an annular vertical plate portion (13) fixedly connected to the lower housing portion (11) thereabove by means of a connecting element (12). The lower housing portion (11) and the annular vertical plate portion (13) are made of a stainless steel material. The annular vertical plate portion (13) is joined to the lower housing portion (11) thereabove by means of a prior art stretch forming process of aluminum alloy plate blanks, such that the inner cavity of the entire case housing (1) can be expanded so as to enable conversion of a clamshell-style aluminum alloy suitcase design into a front-opening aluminum alloy suitcase design while maintaining the same volume, thereby increasing the accommodating capacity thereof and facilitating the accommodation of large items and packing of small items.
