Provided are a support structure (11) and a wheelchair comprising the support structure (11); the support structure (11) comprises an electrically powered push rod (111), a first support rod (112), a second support rod (113), and a support plate (114); a first end of the electrically powered push rod (111) is connected to a first edge of the support plate (114); the first edge is a straight and complete edge; one end of the first support rod (112) is hinged to a second edge of the support plate (114), and one end of the second support rod (113) is hinged to a third edge of the support plate (114); the second edge and the third edge are curved edges. The support structure (11) enables the front chest of the user to contact the support plate (114) to be supported by the support plate (114), which is convenient for nursing staff to move the user and reduces the work intensity of the nursing staff; furthermore, the area of contact between the support plate (114) and the front chest of the user is relatively large, preventing the discomfort of local force when the user's upper body is raised and lowered, improving user comfort during use.
