Abstract:
The present invention relates to a surface treatment method for treating the surfaces of machine parts such as a bearing, a gear, a shaft or a turbine, or the surfaces of molding tools such as a roll in a press mold, the steel industry, paper-manufacturing, and the semiconductor display industry. According to the present invention, in order to solve problems of: a conventional surface treatment method using existing thermal spray coating (TSC) technology in which post-processes for restoring an object fatigued by a coating operation and for modifying the surface thereof have not been considered at all; and the existing possibility of the occurrence of the generation of a non-uniform coating or porosity and a problem in the adhesive strength of a coating layer, provided is a surface treatment method using TSC and ultrasonic nanocrystal surface modification (UNSM), the method being configured so as to apply desired mechanical properties by performing TSC on an object and to modify the surface of the coating layer by performing UNSM, through the merging and convergence of the TSC technology and a UNSM technology, thereby applying more remarkable mechanical properties and, simultaneously, enabling all of mechanical properties, performance, and lifespan to be improved.
