Abstract:
The present invention aims to suppress noise in a surge arrester caused by vibration. A surge arrester unit 22 in a surge arrester comprises: a laminate 20 having a plurality of zinc oxide elements 10 stacked in series; a plurality of supporting rods 9 that tighten the laminate 20; and a supporting plate 13 that fixes each supporting rod 9. This supporting plate 13 has: a plurality of holes 15 that are each formed penetrating a plate body 14 in the circumferential direction; and a hole 16 arranged in the inner circumference of the plate body 14. The supporting rods 9 are inserted into each of these holes 15 and an electrode for metal 28 for between the laminate 20 is inserted in the hole 16. In addition, the outer circumferential surface 9a of the supporting rods 9 and the inner circumferential surface 15a of the holes 15 are joined by bonding using an adhesive 17 such as epoxy resin, etc.
