Abstract:

Provided is a switch device for an automobile, in which a touch-type switch device is installed within a dial switch device, thereby reducing the size thereof. To this end, a switch device for an automobile according to the present invention comprises: a main body having a lower side opened; a cover main body inserted into the opened lower side of the main body and coupled to the main body; a dial switch device mounted on the main body and having an annular wheel knob rotatable about an imaginary vertical rotational axis; a touch-type switch device mounted on the main body and having a capacitive touchpad touched and pressed vertically by a user; a main PCB which is coupled on top of the cover main body and disposed in the main body and to which a switch signal is inputted from the dial switch device and the touch-type switch device; a casing body coupled to the main body and having a hole, formed on the upper side thereof, for exposing the wheel knob and the capacitive touchpad, wherein the capacitive touchpad is disposed within the wheel knob.
