Abstract:
This switch device is provided with: a metal terminal member; and a resin member formed integrally with the metal terminal member by means of insert molding. The metal terminal member is provided with a first arm section and a second arm section extending parallel to each other in a first direction, which is an outward direction, from a side part of the resin member. The first arm section has a first contact part oriented in the first direction, the second arm section has a second contact part oriented in a second direction, which is a direction opposite to the first direction, and facing the first contact part, and an external terminal can be inserted between the first contact part and the second contact part while causing the first contact part and the second contact part to elastically deform respectively.
