Abstract:
A switch device 1 comprises: at least one operating knob 10 which receives an operation performed with respect to an apparatus to be controlled; a detecting electrode (20FR, 20FL, 20RR, 20RL) which is mounted to the operating knob 10 and serves as a detecting unit for detecting an operating position of the operating knob 10; and a control unit 50 which, in accordance with the operating position detected by the detecting electrode (20FR, 20FL, 20RR, 20RL), controls the apparatus to be controlled. The operating knob 10 is formed in a shape allowing recognition of the operating position.
