Abstract:
This switch mechanism, provided in an electric work device driven by a motor accommodated in a housing, comprises: a switch that is accommodated in the housing, and that supplies electric power to the motor in an ON state, and stops the supply of electric power to the motor in an OFF state; and an operation unit that can move in a first direction with respect to a reference position and a second direction that is opposite to the first direction, keeps the switch in the OFF state when positioned in the reference position, and keeps the switch in the ON state when positioned in a first position in the first direction with respect to the reference position, and when positioned in a second position in the second direction with respect to the reference position.
