Abstract:
The present application provides a symbol processing method and apparatus. The method comprises: generating a first transmission symbol in a transmission symbol sequence, the first transmission symbol having a same first symbol component as a second transmission symbol, the initial position of the first symbol component in the first transmission symbol being the initial position of the first transmission symbol, the initial position of the first symbol component in the second transmission symbol being the position where a cyclic prefix of the second transmission symbol is intercepted, the second transmission symbol being a next transmission symbol adjacent to the first transmission symbol, and both the first transmission symbol and the second transmission symbol having the cyclic prefix; and sending the first transmission symbol. Flexible configuration of a guard interval between symbols is realized without depending on the length of the cyclic prefix.
