Abstract:
A synchronization and hot standby method and system for a primary system and a standby system of an apparatus. When the primary system and the standby system are in a synchronization mode, if the primary system fails, the standby system is then upgraded to serve as the primary system, such that seamless and safe switching can be achieved without a machine shutdown or other specific operations; and if the standby system fails, the primary system and the standby system then lose synchronization. A hardware platform is used to ensure that the primary system and the standby system are synchronously powered on, and a software platform is used to ensure that operation statuses and external inputs of the primary system and the standby system are synchronized, thereby achieving a hot standby configuration of the primary system and the standby system. Moreover, the standby system refrains from outputting a control command when the primary system outputs a control command. In this way, when the primary system and the standby system are in a synchronization mode, if the primary system fails, the standby system is upgraded to serve as the primary system, so as to achieve seamless and safe switching.
