Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a synthetic wood manufacturing method which achieves extremely excellent dispersibilities of wood flour and resin bodies and improved yield, and synthetic wood having extremely excellent dispersibilities of wood flour and resin bodies and excellent durability. [Solution] The present invention is a synthetic wood manufacturing method provided with: a grinding step (S1) for grinding wood (1) into wood flour; a mixing step (S2) for mixing the wood flour and resin bodies produced from a thermoplastic resin to produce mixtures; a first granulation step (S3) for melting the mixtures by heating to produce mixed bodies (2) obtained by integrating the wood flour and the resin bodies; a second granulation step (S5) for remelting the mixed bodies (2) by heating to produce pellet-shaped pellet bodies (3); and a molding step (S6) for remelting the pellet bodies (3) by heating and molding the molten pellet bodies by extrusion molding.
