Abstract:
A parcel sorting method, a sorting area (10) layout, a sorting system, and a path optimization method are provided. The sorting method comprises: dividing a sorting area (10) at least into a first logical partition (A) adjacent to a first pick-up area (21) and a second logical partition (B) adjacent to a second pick-up area (22), wherein the first logical partition (A) comprises a first drop-off area, and the second logical partition (B) comprises a second drop-off area. The sorting method can shorten the total parcel delivery route.
