Abstract:
The invention relates to a system for inspecting a printed image. Each system is provided with at least one evaluation unit, a display device and an image scanner. Said image scanner takes an image representing at least partially a printed image. The copied printed image belongs to a sequence of images printed on a printing carrier by a printing machine. Said evaluation unit receives data correlated to a taken image and evaluates said data by comparing with recorded data of at least one preceding image or with a reference image. The display device is provided with a graphical display surface comprising several areas which are controlled in a different manner by the evaluation unit and, preferably are simultaneously displayed. The first area displays at random just taken image, the preceding image and the reference image. The second area comprises at least one input field and/or a control panel for adjusting and/or controlling the evaluation unit and/or adjusting and/or controlling the printing machine.
