Abstract:
Provided is a system for the in-line, real-time measurement of the percentage of copper concentrate in the smelting stage, consisting of at least four (1) electrodes inserted, in alignment, through the refractory wall (2) of a smelting furnace, such that one end of each of the electrodes (1) remains on the outside of the furnace while the other end is inserted into the centre where the reaction takes place, i.e., inserted into the smelting bath, said electrodes (1) being connected to a signal amplifier which, in turn, is connected to a signal generator, sending the current-increased signals to be charged with resistances of less than 0.1 ohm and with bandwidths of 3 MHz, in which the power amplifier sends the power signal to the electrodes (1) at the ends of the alignment, such that the electrodes (1) in the centre receive the resistivity reading once the signal has been sent.
