Abstract:
[Problem] To capture a moving image appearing on a television screen of a user by a camera function of a portable terminal, compare the feature point of one or more still images taken out from the moving image with the feature point of a scene image captured from the most recent television broadcast, and specify a broadcasting station currently viewed by the user and a viewing time accurately in approximately real time. [Solution] The present invention is provided with: a means for calculating the feature points of scene images on a screen which are acquired at predetermined intervals from television programs currently broadcast in an arbitrarily defined number of broadcasting stations or a simultaneous broadcast distribution server, and storing, in a storage means, feature point data corresponding to a predetermined time on a broadcasting-station-by-broadcasting-station basis; a means for receiving feature point data relating to an image of a television program currently viewed by a user and received from a portable terminal of the user; and a means for comparing the received feature point data with the feature point data stored in the storage means, and specifying a scene image satisfying a predetermined matching condition.
