Abstract:
Disclosed are a system and method for recognizing a life pattern of an aged person. The system for recognizing a life pattern of an aged person, according to an embodiment of the present invention, comprises: a perceptual information collection unit for sequentially collecting at least one action of a user present in a pre-set space for a certain period of time and generating perceptual information including at least one behavior and posture; an intention inference unit for pre-processing the perceptual information on the basis of a pre-defined ontology and inference rule to convert the perceptual information to intention fluent corresponding to the behavior and posture, inferring an action intention of a current time by performing an event operation on the intention fluent, and selectively maintaining the inferred action intention of the current time by determining whether the inferred action intention of the current time is a complex action intention that can co-exist with an inferred action intention of an immediately previous time; a life pattern learning unit for learning an action intention to generate a life pattern model; and a life pattern display unit for displaying the life pattern model on a screen.
