Abstract:
A system 1 for treating oil sludge comprises: a vacuum fermentation dryer 3 in which an oil sludge is housed in a closed container and stirred under reduced pressure while being heated within a definite temperature range and, at the same time, organic matters in the oil sludge are decomposed using a microorganism and moisture is evaporated therefrom to give a dried material having a reduced volume; a filter 4 for filtering an oil in the dried material; and a washer 5 for steam washing the dried material from which the oil has been filtered off.
