Abstract:
This welding system is provided with: a conveyor apparatus for conveying a workpiece in which two or more webs are stacked on one another; an anvil roller having an anvil that intermittently comes into contact with a first surface of the workpiece being conveyed; an ultrasonic horn that is disposed so as to face a second surface of the workpiece and that is for intermittently welding the plurality of webs by applying vibrational energy to the workpiece in cooperation with the anvil; a speed changer that reduces the speed of conveying the workpiece being fed to between the horn and the anvil during the welding process; and a pressing device that is for pressing the first surface of the workpiece against the anvil during the welding process.
