Abstract:
According to the present invention, a system for sorting silicon raw material chips comprises: a supply means (10) which pulverizes and supplies a silicon raw material; a sieve means which is connected downstream of the supply means (10) and discharges raw material chips sorted according to particle size; an impurity-removing means (40) which is connected downstream of the sieve means and removes impurities from the raw material chips; and a control means (50) for controlling the supply means (10), the sieve means, and the impurity-removing means (40) by using a set algorithm. Accordingly, in producing silicon powder applied to semiconductor devices, the system continuously performs a series of processes from pulverization to sorting, and thus there is the effect of securing quality and productivity, which are required at a mass production site.
