Abstract:
The present invention implements, by a simple means, a tablet splitting device capable of precisely splitting a tablet, reducing the generation of dust, and separating and removing tablet dust from cut pieces of the tablet. A cutting mechanism 40 for cutting a tablet 4 discharged from a tablet cassette 23 and guided to a cutting position 41 by a tablet introduction mechanism 30 into upper and lower pieces is equipped with: a movable blade 43 that moves forward and backward with respect to the cutting position 41; a fixed blade 42 facing the movable blade; a lower forward/backward moving member 44 that moves forward and backward with respect to the lower side of the cutting position 41; and an upper forward/backward moving member that moves forward and backward with respect to the upper side of the cutting position 41. A cut piece discharge mechanism 60 for guiding cut tablet pieces 5 dropped from the cutting position 41 to a discharge position 65 causes a disk 62 having a plurality of vertical holes 63 for receiving the cut tablet pieces 5 to rotate to move the cut tablet pieces 5 laterally, and ensures that a gap G that allows tablet dust 6 to pass therethrough and does not allow the cut tablet pieces 5 to pass therethrough is located between the vertical holes 63 of the cut piece discharge mechanism 60 and recesses 71, 72 of a tablet dust collection member 70.
