Abstract:
A blending system (100) includes a container (110) and a tamper (150). The container (110) includes a lid (130). The tamper (150) may be inserted into the container (110) through an aperture (132) of the lid (130). The tamper (150) extends towards but does not touch a blade assembly (120). The tamper (150) is positionable in a vertical position and an angled position. The tamper includes a stop that prevents the tamper (150) from touching the blade assembly (120) in the first positon. Another stop prevents the tamper (150) from touching the blade assembly (120) in a second position. The tamper (150) may reach toward the edges of the container (110) in an angled position to manipulate foodstuffs.
