Abstract:
Provided are a tamping device including an eccentric vibration excitation mechanism, and a corresponding tamping method therefor. The tamping device comprises a vibration excitation device, an opening and closing driving device, and a clamping device, wherein the clamping device is connected to a fixing frame in a hinged manner; the vibration excitation device is connected to the opening and closing driving device; the opening and closing driving device is connected to the clamping device; and the vibration excitation device uses an eccentric shaft structure, and a plane where the axis of an eccentric shaft is located is parallel to a movement plane of the clamping device. According to vibration accompanying conditions under different actions, the tamping method comprises two vibration modes: the vibration excitation device (1) vibrating during the whole working process, or the vibration excitation device (1) vibrating during the whole process in which a clamping pick (32) comes into contact with ballast (10) of a ballast bed, and not vibrating during the other processes. Compared with the prior art, the present invention has the following advantages and effects: the technical solution of the present invention is used for a tamping operation of a railway ballast bed, and the device has a simple and reliable structure, and has a high engineering application value.
