Abstract:
Provided is a teaching system (100) which comprises: a sensor (54) that detects the intensity of reflected light; and at least one processor (40). The processor gives a minimum value and a maximum value of an angle formed between the normal to a workpiece (W) at each machining point and laser light emitted from a machining head (50) and coordinates of the machining point so as to use laser light having not less than a minimum value but less than a maximum value to generate teaching data that enables laser machining of all machining points. The processor uses laser light such that the reflected light intensity obtained when the laser light is emitted at a minimum angle becomes not more than an allowable value to determine whether the intensity of reflected light exceeding a predetermined threshold exists at all the machining points when an operation program including the generated teaching data is executed. When the intensity of reflected light is determined to exceed the threshold, the processor increases the minimum value at a corresponding machining point by a predetermined increment and, until the intensity of reflected light is determined not to exceed the threshold, repeatedly carries out the generation of the teaching data using the most recent minimum value, the determination, and adjustment of the minimum value.
