Abstract:
This invention relates to a temperature control system, and a kneading extrusion molding machine using this system. In order to minimize an increase in temperature of the basis material of soap, in a conventional soap manufacturing process, a mechanism comprising a water passage around a cylinder which forms a transfer section of a kneading extrusion molding machine is used, whereby the outer circumference of the cylinder and the material transferred inside the cylinder are cooled. In this mechanism, the portion of the material transferred in the vicinity of the inner surface of the cylinder is cooled efficiently but the portion of the material transferred in the vicinity of the central part of the cylinder is not cooled efficiently. The temperature control system of the present invention is provided with a flow passage (210) formed in a fixed disc (21) having plurality of bores of a friction-kneading mechanism (16) of a kneading extrusion molding machine, means (100, 110) for supplying a fluid whose temperature is regulated to the flow passage, and a temperature control means (300) for setting the temperature of the fixed disc (21) to a predetermined level. Therefore, when the material transferred passes through the fixed disc the temperature of which is maintained at a predetermined level, the material is cooled uniformly irrespective of the radial position thereof in the cylinder.
