Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to improve the efficiency of the work of connecting to a shielded cable, as well as to prevent loss of shielding function. A terminal fitting (T) is provided with: an inner conductor (6) having a cable core crimping part (9) for crimping to a cable core (1); a dielectric body (7) formed from an insulating material; an outer conductor (5) constituted by including a main part (12) encircling the dielectric body (7), a braid crimping part (22) configured to be crimped to a braided wire, and a linking part (15) which connects between the main part (12) and the braid crimping part (22) and is open in the vertical direction in regions thereof corresponding to the cable core crimping part (9); and a cover member (8) for occluding both of open portions (18, 19) of the linking part (15).
