Abstract:
The present invention addresses the problem of providing a novel resin composition for metal-clad laminates, said resin composition enabling the production of a metal-clad laminate which has excellent adhesion to a metal foil, excellent solder heat resistance, excellent insulating properties and the like. A terminally modified polybutadiene contained in a resin composition for metal-clad laminates according to the present invention has structures represented by formula (III) at both ends of a polybutadiene which contains a repeating unit represented by formula (I) and a repeating unit represented by formula (II), wherein the proportion of the repeating unit represented by formula (I) in all repeating units is from 70% by mole to 99% by mole.
