Abstract:
This compound is represented by general formula (1). In general formula (1), R1 and R2 each independently denote a hydrogen atom, a methyl group or an ethyl group, and the sum of the number of carbon atoms in the group denoted by R1 and the number of carbon atoms in the group denoted by R2 is 2. R3 and R4 each independently denote a hydrogen atom, a methyl group or an ethyl group, and the sum of the number of carbon atoms in the group denoted by R3 and the number of carbon atoms in the group denoted by R4 is 2. In addition, a photosensitive layer in the electrophotographic photoreceptor contains at least a charge generating agent, a hole transfer agent and a binder resin. The hole transfer agent includes a compound represented by general formula (1).
