Abstract:
The objective of the present invention is to provide an immunochromatographic test specimen with which a more accurate determination can be performed by employing a different approach to the prior art to avoid what is known as blank color development of the immunochromatographic test specimen. This immunochromatographic test specimen includes at least a sample supply unit, a developing unit, and a detecting unit to which an antibody is fixed, characterized in that the detecting unit includes at least one saccharide selected from the group comprising reductive monosaccharides and reductive disaccharides, together with the antibody.
