Description:
TEXTILE DRUM ARRANGEMENT

TECHNICAL FIELD

The invention relates to a textile drum arrangement which enables the fabrics manufactured in the factory to stay together properly and prevents mark formations on the fabrics due to the folding. STATE OF THE ART

For many years, textile drums have been used for packing and/or storing and for avoiding undesired mark formations on the fabric due to the folding during said processes.

Until recently, these drums were used which were made of the wood. Wooden drums both resulted in the disadvantage of cutting the trees and used to be too difficult to carry (both by humans and the vehicles) because of their weights. Also, wooden textile drums were too expensive.

Currently, wooden drums were replaced by the plastic drums especially in parallel with the developments in the plastic industry. Present plastic drums removed many problems of the wooden drums; however there is still no proper plastic system present in the desired sizes. Furthermore, the advantages of the textile drums which are made of plastic are above the wooden textile drums. However, as well as the damages they cause on the nature, other drawbacks are described hereinbelow. Plastic textile drums are easily broken because their impact resistance is highly low. The costs increase unexpectedly because said wearing creates a continuous need for the textile drums. The heads located at the end portions shows slackness because they are subjected to constant inserting/removing processes, which shortens the lifetime of the product.

TR 2016/03459 discloses a plastic drum lid upon which the fabrics are wound, the plastic drum being designed so as to enter the main body inwardly from two end portions like a comb and the abutments of the empty drum being located so as to correspond to the gaps of the plastic lid which is inserted internally. The most related document we accessed during the literature review for the state of the art is TR2016/03459, which is not relates to the whole textile drum, but to the lids of the drums. It is different from the present invention with said point thereof.

One of the most significant problems of the present art is that the portions which are used as lids are worn in a short time.

DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

The present invention relates to a textile drum arrangement developed in order to prevent the disadvantages mentioned above and to provide the technical field with new advantages.

The object of the invention is to avoid the damage to the nature created by the products made of both material types (wood, plastic) described in the state of the art.

One object of the invention is to enable the textile drum to have a light and resistant structure.

Another object of the invention is to reduce high costs of the wooden and plastic textile drums.

The product of the invention is a textile drum arrangement obtained from the waste papers which is designed so as not to damage the nature and with high resistant, increased strength, and inexpensive material.

The textile drum arrangement of the invention consists of 3 parts. These parts increase the resistance and enhance the lifetime and have the property of being renewable.

Drawings

The applications of the present invention summarized briefly above and addressed in more detail below may be understood by referring to the exemplary applications defined in the appended drawings of the invention. However, it has to be mentioned that the appended drawings illustrates the typical applications of this invention only, thus it cannot be assumed that they limit the scope of the invention, because it may allow for equally effective applications.

Figure 2 - Side perspective view of the textile drum

Figure 3 - Top view of the A section of the internal structure of the body

For the ease of understanding, identical reference numbers are used in the possible cases in order to define the identical members common in the figures. The figures have not been drawn to scale and they may be simplified for clarity. It is to be considered that the members and properties of an application may be included in the other applications usefully without any need for further explanation.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

In this detailed description, preferred alternatives of the embodiment of the textile drum arrangement of the invention are described for better understanding the subject and without any limiting effect.

The product of the invention is the textile drum (10) as an integral product which comprises at least one body (20), two side lids (30), and the internal structure (honeycomb structure) (40) consisting of preferably two layers, i.e. top portion of the internal structure (honeycomb structure) (40a) and bottom portion of the internal structure (honeycomb structure) (40b) for increasing the resistance. The product of the invention is the textile drum (10) used for winding fabrics. The product of the invention is designed with a structure which prevents the lid deformation being the most significant problem of the related art. The heads of the main body (20) which are formed of recycled paper are manufactured by two separate ways. One of them is producing 350 g/m2 paper heads at both ends and the other method is producing plastic heads for both end portions in accordance with the needs. The product of the invention has at least one-layered, preferably two-layered structure comprising honeycombed internal structure (40). These layers are arranged parallel to the textile drum (10). There are at least one side lid (30) at the end portions of the short edges of the drum, said lids may enter the short edges of the body (20), preferably they are also designed to engage with the outer portion of the short edges of the body (20). Side lids (30) may be engaged with the body (20) by means of adhering and/or by means of a plug-in and/or a nail structure.

The internal structure (40) of the textile drum (10) of the invention is formed with the following preferred values.

The outer wall defining the body (20) of the product of the invention is preferably designed as a two-layered structure with 320 g paper and has a total weight of 640 g/m 2 . The internal structure (40) forming the internal part of the product of the invention is obtained by all general geometric shapes and its resistance is increased by using preferably a honeycomb structure.

Another feature of the invention is the resistance increase which is achieved by the reduction generated in the honeycomb structure thereof.

The weight of the paper head used for the side lids (30) is preferably 350 g/m 2 , which prevents damages and collapses on the heads. While the long edge is linear in the products of the prior art, it has an oval structure in the product of the invention, which prevents the marks and cuts on the fabric.

Since the thickness decreases by half, the amount per pallet will be doubled, thus enabling the transportation costs to be decreased by half.

The· product of the invention is transported so as to be 1700 pieces per pallet. However, the products of the prior art are capable of being stored to be 1 100 pieces per pallet. The product of the invention may be arranged with the desired width/length proportion based on the demand.
