Abstract:
A texture recognition apparatus and a driving method for a texture recognition apparatus. The texture recognition apparatus (100) is provided with a touch side (112), and comprises: a light source array, an image sensor array and a light valve structure (120), wherein the image sensor array is configured to be able to receive light emitted from the light source array and reflected to the image sensor array by texture, so as to collect the texture; and the light valve structure (120) is provided at a side, close to the touch side, of the light source array, and is configured to be able to control, in response to a control signal, a first area (1) to be in a light-transmitting state, so as to allow, in the light-transmitting state, the light emitted from the light source array to be transmitted through the first area (1) to form a first photosensitive light source (201). The texture recognition apparatus (100) can form, by means of the light valve structure (120), a photosensitive light source in a corresponding area, and the texture recognition apparatus (100) can also quickly obtain a texture image with relatively high definition and accuracy.
